What we access

With your explicit consent, garmlink connects to Garmin Connect on your behalf to sync your own health and activity data, read-only. We never post to Garmin and never modify your account.

Credentials

Your Garmin password is used once to sign in and is never stored. We keep only the resulting access tokens, encrypted at rest. Disconnecting deletes those tokens.

AI Transparency Statement

When you link garmlink to Claude (Anthropic) or ChatGPT (OpenAI), your synced Garmin data is sent to that assistant so it can answer your questions. Those providers act as subprocessors and process the data under their own terms. This sharing happens only for connectors you explicitly authorize, and you can revoke access at any time.

Deletion

Disconnecting your Garmin account purges your synced data by default. Deleting your garmlink account removes everything associated with it.
